LinkedIn Growth in Indonesia

By Kristin DelMuto

Indonesia has the third largest Facebook population of any country on earth, but has also been taken over by LinkedIn. Just recently, Indonesia has hit one million LinkedIn users, which is faster growing than their Facebook users.

According to TheNextWeb, LinkedIn has added 20,000 users in that period, which represents a 25% growth. LinkedIn states, “Since the launch of the local language site, the number of LinkedIn groups in Bahasa, Indonesia has doubled to over 700 groups.”

LinkedIn can expect to continue to see massive growth in the Asia-Pacific region, having launched its new language support for regions such as Korea, Indonesia and Malaysia.
